Body Balms

Balms are the SIMPLEST and PUREST form of moisturizer - a blend of OIL and BEESWAX. When we harvest honey, we get pure beeswax in the process.  This beeswax is cleaned and used in our products.  A BALM is a good choice for a person with skin sensitivities to other products.

Lip Balms

All balms start as a BASE of Olive Oil and Beeswax from our hives. Lip Balms have more wax than body balms.  No gooey, glossy, gunk added! Great for guys too - no overly girly flavors.  Our TUBES have added Shea Butter.

OLIVE OIL: If you can eat it, surely you can put it on your skin! Olive Oil attracts external moisture and holds the moisture close to the skin - it forms a breathable film to prevent the loss of internal moisture. Olive Oil does not block the natural functions of the skin. It's neutral enough to use around eyes.  Extra virgin olive oil has some NATURAL SCENT and sometimes we get into a batch that is more "flavorable" than others.  Our olive oil bases are NOT scent-free, they are "naturally scented".

BEESWAX: Helps create a barrier - melting into the oils to help keep moisture IN the skin. Our BEESWAX comes from our hives!

HONEY, PROPOLIS and POLLEN: And try as we might to "clean" the wax cappings from our honey harvest - our beeswax DOES INCLUDE traces of honey, propolis and pollen. Our wax is cleaned by human hands and not super-refining machines.

• Muscle Rub has a blend of essential oils that helps sooth sore muscles. This is a nice break from the medicinal smelling products you get off the shelf. This has a sweet citrus/eucalyptus smell.

• Lavender is our base with the added qualities and scent of pure essential oil of Lavender. Lavender has natural disinfectant qualities. Now you can protect your hands from the dryness of continual washing and disinfect.

• Ultimate is our base with added Shea and Cocoa Butter with a light Oatmeal-Honey scent. It just MELTS into your skin.

• Hardworking Hand Balm High in wax content - it's really good when your hands are working in dirt, grease or getting scratched up - when you need something that acts like a "liquid glove".  Shea Butter and Tea Tree Oil will help your cuts and scrapes.

• Aloe & Shea Butter Balm This product is just plain wonderful. Shea is ideal for it's anti-inflammatory and healing properties and combined with the antioxidants, enzymes and anti-inflammatory qualities of Aloe - there couldn't be a more soothing PROBLEM SKIN solution! 

• Aloe & Shorea Butter Balm An amazing combination of Shea & Shorea Butters. Shea Butter is known for aiding dry, cracked skin. Shorea Butter is renowned for it’s incredible moisturizing properties. This is your dry cracked feet solution!

• Aloe & Hemp Butter Balm Hemp seed oil has a bit of a cult following. As an incredibly nourishing oil for skin on many levels, it plumps the look of your skin, firms and tightens your skin's appearance, and provides powerful antioxidant activity to help promote beautiful skin. This is your "younger looking" skin solution!

All of our scents/flavors are cosmetic grade and (when used) are PHTHALATE FREE!

Common ingredients we add to our products: 
COCOA BUTTER: (also known as Cacao butter) contains a large number of different antioxidants that act synergistically to present a massive offensive against the free radicals which lead to premature aging and as such, is the ideal skin care product.
SHEA BUTTER: Used as a moisturizer during winter months since cold weather is especially hard on skin. Shea butter works as a protectant and intensive moisturizer. Its most well-known use worldwide, however, is for cosmetic purposes in natural skin care. Shea butter has become widely known in North America, Asia and Europe for its soothing and revitalizing skin care properties. The butter is high in vitamins A, D, and E, and fatty acids similar to the skin's natural oils.

OUR GOAT MILK LOTION:
Goat’s milk is high in protein, triglycerides, Vitamin A, B6, B12 and E making it an excellent natural moisturizer that helps hydrate and nourish skin. Honey is a natural anti oxidant and anti-inflammatory. It is high in vitamin C and promotes collagen formation in the skin. Shea Butter is well known in helping moisturize while providing a silky protective barrier to all skin types. Does not contain mineral oil.  The lotions are very thick - older hands appreciate the TUB for easier opening.   This is available in Unscented, Light Milk & Honey Scent, and Lavender.

SHEA BUTTER & ALOE LOTION:
This is a client favorite!  The base is an amazing combination of Aloe Vera and Refined Shea Butter. Aloe has long been considered to be a premier product for moisturizing and healing the skin while Shea Butter is thought to aid dry skin. MINERAL OIL AND PARABEN FREE.  The Scent: Honey Patchouli Lime.  It's Complicated.  Sweet, Spicy & Citrus.

...about our soaps & shampoo bars

All of our soaps and shampoo bars are vegetable based oils - Great Lathering.  You'll be surprised how long they last. Made in SMALL BATCHES!  Scents vary seasonally. All of our scents are either from Essential Oils or from PHTHALATE FREE fragrance oils as noted. We use Non-GMO and Sustainable Coconut and Palm Oil!

Take it from someone who grows, maintains, and donates LONG hair....
The purpose of washing your hair...is washing YOUR SCALP. The reason for going to a product like this is to get away from STRIPPING YOUR HAIR and SCALP of all it's NATURAL oils...and maintaining your scalp's NATURAL PH. There is a greater PRICE you're paying for the use of ALL THOSE BIG FOAMY PRODUCTS? (besides all the bottles in your cupboard: shampoo, conditioner, mousse, jell, hairspray...it's a big hair care circle!) 

Soap vs. Detergent

Here's the short version: DETERGENTS are made from petroleum products, foaming agents and alcohols (surfactants), usually heavily scented with cheap, synthetic, artificial fragrances and preservatives (parabens). WHY are these products made? - They're CHEAP TO PRODUCE, make good profits, have a long shelf-life and "clean" in ALL water types (hard/soft).

SOAPS are made with natural products (animal or plant fat and lye) There are no by-products. The soap going down your drain biodegradable. Soaps have a pH that is between 9.5 and 10 (alkaline). High quality soaps are made with oils such as coconut, palm, castor, or olive oils. In our products - when used, scent oils are DIBUTYL PHTHALATE FREE!!!
